🎤🎸 SUNDAY AFTERNOON JUST GOT BETTER! 🎸🎤

As KRFC Festival heads towards its grand finale, we're delighted to welcome back one of the club's most loved acts – our very own "house band", Crabby and Ryan!

Joining us for the Closing Party on Sunday 21st June, this talented acoustic duo will be taking to the stage from 2pm, bringing the perfect soundtrack to round off what promises to be a spectacular festival weekend.

Expect a brilliant mix of relaxed summer vibes, classic favourites, and rousing singalong anthems guaranteed to have everyone joining in. Whether you're enjoying a drink with friends, soaking up the festival atmosphere, or getting ready for one last celebration before the weekend ends, Crabby and Ryan will provide the perfect musical backdrop.

We are delighted to share that Mark Byers, our Club Secretary and Disciplinary Secretary, and formerly Mini Junior Chair, has been made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the King’s Birthday Honours. A CBE is the highest class of the Order of the British Empire that does not carry a title. It sits at the level immediately below a knighthood or damehood.

Whilst Mark has primarily been honoured for his outstanding contribution to improving policing and security across the UK, his voluntary work at the club and across East Midlands MJ rugby has also been recognised. Mark has been a tireless volunteer for over 15 years, both at the club, but also in organising the wide range of competitions across boys and girls rugby throughout the East Midlands.

Everyone at the club is delighted to see his contribution recognised in this way.

🏔️🏉 150 FOR 150 – THE 3 PEAKS CHALLENGE 🏉🏔️

As part of Kettering Rugby Football Club's 150th Anniversary celebrations, we're aiming to raise an incredible £150,000 through a series of fundraising events throughout the season as part of our **150 for 150** campaign.

Our next challenge sees 9 KRFC players take on the legendary National 3 Peaks Challenge from **20th–23rd August**, tackling the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in a test of endurance, teamwork and determination.

Important Update – Summer Ball

It’s with real disappointment that we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Summer Ball.

Unfortunately, there simply hasn’t been enough interest to make the event financially viable, and with the ongoing costs of running the club, we can’t risk making a loss when every penny is needed to help keep the club going.

We know many of you will be disappointed, and believe us when we say that we’re equally gutted. We were really looking forward to it and had hoped for a great evening together.

The good news is that we’re now putting all of our energy and focus into making next weekend’s Festival bigger and better than ever, and we can’t wait to see you there.
