If you ever think your Pilates class is a little stop and start…

That’s a good thing ✨✨✨

It means your instructor is taking the time to make sure every body in the room is set up properly, to then move well. Especially if you’re new to Pilates, this is totally essential.

Where are your shoulders? Is your tailbone sitting heavy? Is your centre engaged correctly so you’re not feeling your ab curl in your neck? All these tiny tweaks that we can make in the set up of your exercise are truly going to transform the movement coming next.

So next time you think you want to be moving on to the next exercise quicker, enjoy that little bit of set up time and try find learnings in it to carry forward. Because you know you’re next movement is going to feel spicy ❤️‍🔥🌶️😏

If you’ve joined a class at Arch since we opened in the spring, you’ll know we’ve had balloons in the studio since, and they’ve had SO much love!

They’ve also lasted a very long time 🤭🤭

But when it was finally time for them to go, we just couldn’t say no more balloons, they are part of the furniture now! So, we simply upgraded them thanks to the amazing team at .balloonartist 🕺

New colours, new design, new waves of happiness every time we look at them ❤️‍🔥

FAQ Episode 2!! This week, we’re tackling…

‘How many times do I need to be doing Pilates every week?’

There’s no right or wrong answer quite simply. It’s whatever you can fit into your routine that you know you’ll be able to keep up with consistently!

Of course, if you’re able to come twice or even three times a week, then you’re going to start to notice changes in your body or feel the tweaks that improve your practice a little bit quicker.

But once a week is still perfect if you’re looking to build core strength, find better posture and gain a bit of headspace 💭
