A misty start here in Berkhamsted as 250 runners embark on a 50K loop around the Chilterns!

We’re rolling out a new feature this weekend: introducing RR Live, our new race day app for runners! 🏃‍♀️

For all our ultra distance events, we require runners to have access to the race route on their phone. Although we mark everything, you never know what might happen on race day, and it’s important to know how to get back on track. 🧭

Our new app makes that simple. Just load it up and check your location on an OS Map. 📍

If you’re running this weekend, head to app.runawayracing.com and give it a go out on the trails. ⛰️

Entries for the 6th edition of the Suffolk Coastal Path 50K will open tomorrow (Sat 24th), at 10am! 🥳

The first 50 entrants can take advantage of huge savings, with tickets starting at just £65!

Get yourself signed up, and join us for one of the flattest ultra in the UK! 🔥

We are BACK for round 2️⃣ of our autumn time trial series on Wednesday! 🔥

This week we head to the very quaint village of The Lee (not far from Wendover and Great Missenden).

8km of fast trails await (ok one big hill too), with a fresh slice of pizza awaiting your return to the hall.

Turn up and run anytime between 1830-1930. Small venue so spaces are limited.

Head torches required!

With just over 5 weeks until race day, the North Chilterns 50K has now reached full capacity! 🙌

Thanks to everyone who signed up, we can't wait to welcome you to the North Chiltern trails in November.

If you missed the boat, we have a waiting list open and will offer out spaces. If you join it now, you have a very good chance of getting in 🤞

We are thrilled to announce that our race director, has been elected Chair of the Trail Running Association!

What is the TRA?
The TRA looks after trail running in the England. They work alongside UK Athletics to licence races and support organisers with advice and grants. They also offer membership for runners, providing race entry discounts, and even a magazine. It’s all run by volunteers who love the sport and want to see more people out on the trails.

Check out Trail Running Association for more details.

Introducing Runaway Results 🌱🏆 the new timing arm of our organisation.

Over the past couple of years we’ve been increasing how we work with other race organisers, providing technical support, chip timing, GPS tracking, entry management and more.

Led by company director , who has two decades experience building tech, we’re now growing this part of the company - using our 7+ years of race organisation experience, combined with our technical expertise, to help organisers run better events.

You might have already seen Chris overseeing timing/tracking at Centurion Running and other local Chilterns events.

If you’re involved in a local club race, or are an organiser looking to improve their results service or entry platform, get in touch and see how we can help.

For those running Tring Running Club’s Ridgeway Run on Sunday, you’ll see us at the finish line managing the chip timing ⏱️
