Power yoga focuses on building strength and endurance, with the emphasis on the flow from one pose to the next, rather than one pose separately. It still requires mindfulness and focus on breath. However, it is more dynamic rather than meditative form of yoga

Restorative Yoga.... Taught by the wonderful Lisa from LMA Yoga

What is Restorative Yoga?

Restorative yoga is a restful practice of deep relaxations that emphasises the meditative aspect of yoga, the union of body and mind, by paying attention to your breath and becoming aware of any sensations or thoughts that may arise.

Restorative yoga is a great complement to more active practises such as Clubbercise or Zumba, as well as our busy lives, and it is an antidote to stress.

Benefits of restorative yoga are increased relaxation, better sleep, reduces musculoskeletal pain, increased strengthen to the connective tissues, at the same time as being gentle on the joints and it help with symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression, improving your overall physical and mental wellbeing.

This practice will end with a yoga Nidra meditation, this is often referred to as yoga sleep. This is a fully guided deep relaxation practice done in lying that induces a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping.
