It was the Annual Friendly against Alness this week. They had a fabulous night hosted by the Alness Ladies, topped off with a great High Tea to finish.

Summer league continues on Tuesday 29th July and JM Fraser trophy on Thursday 31st July. So keep yourself busy and get yourself out on the course.

Rough been cut now so I managed to find my ball the other day. It was on the green at the first ⛳️😃

Shame it was from my tee shot on 18.

Have to say it was a very boring final. Glad i hit the shot in the afternoon because there wasn’t many shots in the game. Fell asleep before extra time. 😴

Sweepstake update

Well to done Bryan Ronald (Spain) & Robert Macaskill (Argentina)
Who have made it to the final of the World Cup.

Bryan’s team managed a class performance against France, controlled the midfield and never gave there opponents a chance.

Bob’s team won it late last night against England in dramatic style. Messi showing he can assist as well as score.

Sunday’s match is a scratch match and the only final these 2 will make at the golf club this year, so hope it’s a good clean match.

This is a brutal format I can confirm this by playing it recently. For anyone who doesn’t know it’s a stableford format. You multiply both your points together. E.g. if one player scores 2 points and the other scores 3 points. Your team score for that hole will be 6 points.
