Here are some pictures of me you didn’t ask for lol 🤣🤍

I wanted to post them because I think women are WAY too hard on themselves these days.
We compare ourselves constantly and think “I wish I looked like her” … without even realising how much it affects us mentally.
I do it too.

So here’s a mix of me looking confident, tired, awkward, strong, happy and just… normal 😂
Because social media usually only shows the best angles and good days.

You don’t need to look like somebody else to be worthy.

Sunday was giving full Miss Trunchbull vibes 😂💪

First time completing the DEKA Atlas, stubborn old me took on the peak weights and came away 1st female & 3rd overall in peak 🖤

Wrapped myself up in joint supports because menopause and heavy weights are not always best mates 😅 I genuinely thought my joints might crumble before the event even started.

The week before was rough too. Having only signed up 2.5 weeks before, I only managed 3 training sessions before my body completely burnt out and I ended up ill. It really got me thinking about how much my body has changed and how much easier I seem to burn out now. Is it stress? Fear of not being good enough? Menopause? ADHD/ASD? Probably a mix of it all.

But I did it 👏

Huge thank you to my good friend Jason for the encouragement and carrying me through when my confidence was wobbling and the whole family for all the support ❤️

Trying to learn that I need to be proud of myself for completing it, without those little thoughts creeping in telling me I should’ve done better. Oh how we love to pull ourselves apart 🤣

Hormone Hub isn't just for one stage of life.

It's for every stage of womanhood.
You might be there to learn.
You might be there to share.
You might be there just to move your body and have a laugh.

Because no matter what stage you're in, someone in that room will have experienced something similar and will be more than happy to share their story ❤️

Little wins ✨
The little things hitting me the most, the ones people take for granted -family time, training time, sh*tty chores, making memories and having the energy to say yes 🥲.
Deka Atlas session boxed off this morning (managed not to talk myself out of it 🥳)
+10 reps on everything AND pushed the peak (heavier) weights

The other evening I actually had the energy to go out with the girls and the dog… and properly run around with them 🥹
I can’t even tell you the last time I felt able to do that.

Since being on risperidone (week 3), something’s shifted. I can feel a slight weight lifted off my shoulders.
Less exhaustion, less putting things off and just a little more life in me.

Felt like I’d been given a little boost back 🤣💛

Not perfect, still early days… but this feels like progress. This is what I’ve been looking for, this little bit of spark back.
