LONDON MARATHON… here she comes! 🇬🇧🏃♀️
Meet Harriet, one of my incredible clients who I’ve had the absolute pleasure of coaching on her journey to the London Marathon.
It’s safe to say this hasn’t been a smooth, straightforward prep. She’s been juggling shift work, mum life, and all the other curveballs life has thrown her way, yet she’s shown up and given her training everything she’s got✨🥹
A few months ago, running beyond 10km comfortably felt like a real stretch. Fast forward to yesterday, and she completed the longest run of her entire training block… 30km! An incredible milestone and a true testament to her consistency, resilience, and determination 💪🏼
This is exactly what happens when you follow a progressive plan that gradually builds mileage safely, allowing the body to adapt without injury. Alongside her running, we complemented her training with strength work, which helped improve running efficiency, build muscle endurance, and protect against injuries. Step by step, run by run, and rep by rep, it has all came together to get her to this point🫶🏼✨🥰
This is what it’s all about!
Putting in the work, trusting the process, and proving to yourself what you’re capable of. She is now 4 weeks out. Proud💕💪🏼🫶🏼
