This is a run club special and this oneโ€™s going to be a bit different! This Friday night special will be promoting fitness in our local community with !

Weโ€™ll be doing an easy paced, social 5K around town, stopping off past five of Hitchinโ€™s most iconic landmarks along the route.

Itโ€™s all about community, getting outside, meeting new people and enjoying a run together.

The biggest annual event of the year!

July marks our 1-year anniversary at HUB 2.0, and weโ€™re bringing back the famous HUB Games on Saturday 4th July. Registration is now live via TeamUp.

Spaces are filling up fast, with only 12 spots remaining, so youโ€™ll need to act quickly if you want to secure your place! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ’ช

If you havenโ€™t joined us for a HUB games before, expect a morning of fun, friendly competition, (some questionable tactics) and plenty of laughs.

Understanding your energy systems can completely change the way you train.

Different types of training target different energy systems, and knowing when and why youโ€™re working in each helps you train much more effectively.

We never like to overcomplicate things at HUB, which is why we have different sessions available on our timetable that focus on each energy system - so you can take the guesswork out of your training.

Here are some examples of when youโ€™ll be working each energy system in our classes at HUB:

Examples During HUB Classes:
- ATP-PC System - Week 12 of our SGPT training block, when you attempt a heavy 3-rep max Deadlift.
- Glycolytic System - During an intense Metcon, Sweat, or Hyrox class.
- Oxidative System - During a Flow class, where you are aiming to stay in Zone 2 (60โ€“70% max HR)
