I first met Liz in 2018 when I started attending small group personal training classes. I had always been fit and pushed myself hard, but after having a child and getting older I had got out of the habit of exercising regularly. I really enjoyed Liz’s classes which were always challenging but I liked the fact that Liz would always check for good technique to help me avoid injury.

I progressed from the small group PT classes to a Body Transformation course. Liz encouraged me to make a sustainable change to my lifestyle rather than a strict diet. During the classes, Liz pushed and encouraged me but never shouted at me which is something that I really don’t like.

When I Injured my knee and had to stop Body Transformation for a while, I had weekly PT sessions with Liz to keep up my fitness. Liz was great at working out a programme to avoid placing pressure on my knee whilst still pushing me hard. She was a first class PT with a very sound knowledge of nutrition and of sports injuries.

It’s almost 2 years since I met Liz. In that time I have lost 2 stone in weight and have a level of fitness and strength that I never thought I would regain. I have overhauled my lifestyle and feel fitter and stronger than I have been for years.

I can’t recommend Liz and her classes highly enough, both as a PT and her Body Transformation course. She’s an excellent PT and is very passionate and positive about helping people achieve their goals.

One of the questions I get asked most often when it comes to weight loss is: What is better for losing body fat, weight lifting or cardio?

My answer- Activities that burn calories, promote muscle mass, and elevate metabolism.
A cardio workout burns more calories than a weight-training workout. However, your metabolism may stay elevated for longer after weights than cardio, and weight lifting is better for building muscle, which helps to sustain fat loss.

Thus, the ideal exercise program for improving body composition should prioritise Resistance Training and incorporate Cardio to add to the daily energy expenditure.

Monika’s Transformation 😍

When I started training with Elisabeta & Nicky I weighted 71kg and not very happy.Nine weeks later I have lost 7 kg and I feel inspired.💪They’ve both encouraged and pushed me with positive reinforcements and aspirational goal-settings. Elisabeta’s nutrition advices was a massive help and put me on the healthy road. Elisabeta & Nicky are both professional and great PT’s who use a mix of exercises that focus on strength and stamina work that builds confidence as well as muscle.I feel fitter, toned and definitely happier!👍🤗I’m in the best shape of my life.👊Thank you!I couldn’t achieve this without Elisabeta and Nicky. I really enjoy every session. I couldn’t recommend Body Transformation Programme enough.

PROGRESS

Our focus in Body Transformation programming is strength and stamina. We try to gradually increase the stress placed upon the body during exercise training by keeping the compound movements the same and increasing the intensity every week.

INTENSITY

Intensity is probably the most important element of your workout because when you workout at a sufficient intensity, your body grows stronger and you'll see changes in your weight, body fat percentage, endurance, and strength.

When training no matter what the goal is you've got to make sure your intensity is high enough.

It’s not point going through the motion! If you want results then you've got to make sure you work as hard as you can.

Finish the session knowing you couldn't do anything else and you'll get to where you want to be.
