Merriott Saints has been in existence in one form or another since the 1980s and the current team is due to start its 5th season.

As the preparations for the 26/27 season commence, Sam Hayne and Lorentz Green have been announced as the new management team taking the club forward after Simon Cross’ move into semi pro football. The lads have been busy behind the scenes getting the club ready for the new journey ahead.

As a club we would also like to thank Simon for his 4 years of tireless work on and off the pitch and wish him good luck in his new role.

We also celebrated some alternative awards including the Sick Note Award, the Red Card Award and the 'Should've Squared It' Award. The 2 final awards went jointly to Rebecca Louise Wiltshire and Natalie Wiltshire for all their hard work behind the scenes and some delicious food and to Sams little boy Noah, receiving the Little Legend Award.

All in all a superb night as the Gaffer Simon Cross handed over to Lorentz Green and Sam to lead the club in to next season and beyond.

We can't wait to share the 26/27 with you!
