This could be the best thing ever. We are looking for new people to learn to play. We meet in Merriott village hall Mondays 1.45pm to 4pm and Wednesdays 6.45pm to 9pm.

In a fiercly fought contest Merriott short mat bowls club retained the Jackie Mitchel Shield for another year, by beating Crewkerne 43 points to 29. Here are the club captains Bill Elston ( on left), being presented with the shield, by Mark Haskins. You too could be a member of our successful club. There is no roll up today, as we are playing a match. Feel free to come and watch. We will be pleased to see you on wednesday evening at 6.30pm or next monday at 1.45pm. We still have room for new joiners. Venue as usual at the village hall.
