Yesterday the Ardencaple ladies played our final match of our first season at the Glasgow Community Football, Clyde League. The rain did not stop but we kept going for it and had a great time! 🌧️ ⚽

We finished on a high, winning 5 - 2, bringing us in to 2nd place in the league! 🎉

We have really enjoyed getting in to our first league and can't thank our brilliant coach Robert enough for all his support and guidance! 👏

Yesterday, the ladies played their 3rd set of league fixtures against Easterhouse and Glasgow Tigers. On our first game we narrowly lost 1-0. We played some good football and had chances but narrowly lost the game. Our second game, we won 8-0 and controlled the game. Shout out to Emma Connor who played her first league games and scored an impressive 5 goals. Also shout out to Seren Galliers who grabbed her first two goals in the league on her first outfield appearance. Think everyone played their part. We now move on to our final league game of the season on December 7th 🩷

Today the ladies played their second round of 2 league fixtures in the Glasgow recreational league. Another 2 wins for the team with lots of hard work and good play. Great effort from the ladies today 🩷🖤.

Today we played two 7 aside league games at Firhill Sports Complex in the first day of the Clyde League. We worked really hard and played some good football which resulted in 2 wins from 2. Super proud of the effort and football played. Well done everyone! 👏🏻⚽
