Hayle Outdoor Swimming Pool Hayle Town Council owns & manages the pool. We encourage booking to avoid disappointment, or you can pay by card on the door, space permitting. Go to "Book"

The pool is not heated but has a solar cover - water temp ranges from 20-25 degrees depending on the weather! Phone and emails are monitored Monday - Friday 09.30-12.30. Booking is encouraged to avoid disappointment. Please note that we do not offer refunds for cancelled sessions, but it is possible to re-arrange. For group bookings follow these steps:

1. Find your date (it will be available for

booking 7 days before)
3. Click on the date and pick the time e.g. 11am
4. Click "Select and add another time" - click on the same session time again & repeat this step as many times as you need to, so for 5 tickets you would need to click 5 times. You will see tickets listed in lines at the bottom of the screen.
5. Go to "Continue"
6. Fill in your details and go to payment (you can pay by card or via PayPal)

Please note that the pool is NOT heated, but it does have a solar cover!

We can't believe it's already been a couple of weeks since our official opening for the Pool's 50th season!

We had a lovely morning celebrating the milestone with Councillors, Council Officers, lifeguards, community organisations and just some of those involved in making the recent improvements to the pool possible. And of course, Mischief the Mermaid was there to swim with those of you booked into the first session! 🧜‍♀️

We had the most fun swim here on Saturday!

Memphis even learnt to swim on top of the water 👌

🕑 open every weekend, till the end of June, then open daily up till early Sept. 3 sessions each day.
11:00 - 13:00
13:30 - 15:30
16:00 - 18:00

There are some evening sessions on some days for adults.

Well worth booking in advance to avoid disappointment. Worth also following them on socials for updates.

You can wear wetsuits. We went in swim wear, rash vests and wetsuit socks. It was actually warmer than I expected to be fair.

Thanks to everyone who joined us yesterday to mark this amazing milestone... the start of our 50th summer season! We are over the moon with all of the support our pool has received and we are looking forward to this being the best season yet!

We appreciated the large attendance for our opening, which included town and Cornwall councillors, community and local business representatives, town council staff, regular users of the pool, grant funding providers and sponsors!
