Scores on the doors! Both our teams had a fantastic day at Trex Sevens last Sunday, showing off the best of what they can do in a different rugby format.

A definite highlight was the match of Halifax vs Halifax, with the Old Girls winning the bragging rights (they knew they would never hear the end of it if they had lost!).

The Old Girls were especially pleased to come out the winners of the day - and entertaining everyone with their active warm up routine (they had to keep their old muscles moving!).

Well done to all the organisers, and thanks to Bev Clough Photography for the team pics!

How fantastic to have both our girls and ladies teams playing at the T-Rex Sevens event on Sunday!

As part of the day, we had a showcase of girls teams from across the local area, and it was lovely to see!

What a fantastic day we had yesterday at the annual Trex Sevens event yesterday! All in all we had 8 women's teams take part, and it even got so busy on the day we had to shut the car park!

Thanks to all the teams that took part, but big shout out to the final winners, the Halifax "Old Girls" who proved age is just a number!

It was a really close final game against Sheffield RUFC Women who also put on a amazing show throughout the day, really showing the best of ladies rugby 💪

We can't wait till next year!

Our girls team are heading back to training on Thursday 2nd July...and you could join them! Our girls are coached by RFU qualified coaches, some of who also play for our ladies team!
