💧 “Why does the water look dirty in the treadmill, but clear in the glass?” 👀
You might notice that the water can sometimes look much darker when the treadmill is full, but there’s a simple explanation for this! It’s a combination of:
🖤 The black belt underneath naturally makes the water appear darker.
💧 The deeper the water, the less light is able to pe*****te through it, making it look darker than it really is.
🤎 Tiny particles of dust, dirt, mud and debris from the horse, their feet float in suspension in the water.
Our treadmill uses a dual filtration system which the water cycles through to help keep it as clear and clean as possible.
Every horse has their legs washed off before and after use to help keep it as clean as possible, and we use an animal safe chlorine to keep bacteria out of the water 🧼🐴. And of course the water is drained and the tank cleaned out every 2 weeks as part of our normal routine.
So next time you see the water looking darker in the treadmill, don’t judge it by its colour! 😉 Would you have guessed the water in the glass came straight from the treadmill? 👀
