📸🎤 Press/media accreditation is open for the NAF Hartpury Festival of Dressage and the NAF Hartpury International Celebration of Eventing, incorporating the British Eventing Official National Championships.

Journalists, photographers, videographers, content creators, photography groups, and amateur photographers must apply for accreditation before attending.

For eventing, they must also be in compliance with British Eventing's guidance for accredited press.

✅ Tea, coffee and water will be provided
✅ High-vis supplied for horse trials cross country access (must be worn)
✅ BE media registration required for all horse trials media attendees

🕊 Stephen Clarke 🕊

Everyone at Hartpury is deeply saddened by the passing of Stephen Clarke, a true giant of international dressage and a cherished friend of Hartpury.

Stephen was an integral part of Hartpury Equine and the NAF Hartpury Festival of Dressage for many years, serving as a member (and President) of the Ground Jury and helping to shape the Festival into one of the most respected competitions on the international calendar. His expertise, integrity and unwavering commitment to the highest standards of judging earned him the admiration of riders, owners, officials and organisers alike. He also played a key role in our hosting of the FEI Young Rider and Junior European Championships.

At Hartpury, Stephen’s contribution went far beyond the competition arena. He was a trusted advisor, a wonderful ambassador for the sport and a passionate supporter of our Gala Evenings, where his knowledge, humour and storytelling were always enjoyed by guests and colleagues - most memorably, ahead of London 2012 and Rio 2016. His presence brought a sense of occasion to every event he attended, and his warmth and generosity made him a pleasure to work alongside.

Stephen had an extraordinary ability to combine authority with kindness. Whether working with fellow officials, supporting developing judges, or engaging with riders, he always gave his time generously and was respected by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Hartpury Equine has benefited enormously from Stephen’s guidance, wisdom and friendship over many years. His influence can be seen in the standards of excellence that continue to define our events today.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Stephen’s family, friends and the wider equestrian community. We are immensely grateful for the role he played in our journey and for the lasting impact he made on our events and our sport.

Stephen will be greatly missed, but he will always be remembered as an important part of the Hartpury story and as one of equestrian sport's most respected and admired figures. We will take time to remember him at our upcoming Festival.

Are you competing at one of our three major equine events this summer?

If so, we’d love to follow your journey!

We’re looking for riders competing at:

✨ NAF Hartpury Festival of Dressage
✨ Hartpury Showjumping Spectacular
✨ NAF Hartpury International Celebration of Eventing and British Eventing Championships

We are also looking for volunteers who might want to share a little about their experience too! 🌟

You'll be able to share the highs and lows of your preparation with us and our audience, behind-the-scenes content (such as short reels/videos), introduce your horse, tell us more about your training programme, and share your story as you work towards your goals.

Whether you’re aiming for a podium finish or achieving a personal milestone, we want to showcase the people and horses that make our events so special.

🌞💧 Meteorological summer has arrived and preparations are in full swing for the NAF International Celebration of Eventing & British Eventing Official Championships this August!

Our grounds team has been hard at work watering the cross country course to ensure the best possible conditions for horses and riders. With months of planning and preparation behind the scenes, every effort is being made to present world-class tracks and optimal footing for championship competition.
