🔥 KFS – exciting plans for Medway! 🔥

We’re starting the process of getting a regular outdoor fire-spinning session established in Medway!

I’ve got a meeting coming up with the Medway Council Events Manager to discuss permissions, venues, safety, insurance and how we can make regular burns work.

My initial idea is:

🔥 1st Thursday of the month – Indoor KFS session
🔥 3rd Thursday of the month – Outdoor fire-spinning burn

The idea would be to have the indoor sessions as a place to learn, practise and develop skills, with the outdoor burns providing an opportunity for appropriately trained spinners to put those skills into practice.

Nothing is confirmed yet, but it’s looking promising and I’m really hoping we can get something regular up and running! 🔥

I’ll update everyone once I’ve had the meeting and know what’s possible.

What a night! 🔥

Last night I headed up to the London Burn with Kim from Kent Fire Spinners & Circus Hub. It was Kim’s first time, so it was great to experience it with her.

It was one of those evenings where you just lose track of time spinning, chatting and meeting people. We met some people completely new to the scene, caught up with old friends, made some new ones, and of course finished with the Circle Burn — seeing everyone out on the sand spinning together is always something special. 🔥✨

Really good vibes, great people and a bloody good evening.

Already looking forward to the next one! 🤹‍♂️🔥
