THE FAIR FOR ALL TROPHY EVENT
Pre match info-
Firstly a warm welcome to all those lucky enough to be selected for this years event.
Please remember that you have been chosen on merit, past participation, good behaviour and attitude to all players/ parents within youth football.
This is a key attribute to your teams entry, therefore please do not let the tournament and our club down by poor behaviour whilst playing, or around the ground from a spectator perspective.
This is kids football and we’ve all worked extremely hard to give you all a brilliant tournament. Please do not spoil it. Let the kids have fun and please enjoy your day and great football on display.
All our refs are home grown apart from a few and like some of your players, still learning. So many will have YELLOW arm bands, which will mean they are either newly qualified or young! Under the age of 18. So guys, please respect that.
SITE RULES-
Strictly NO SMOKING AND NO ALCOHOL.
Toilets are provided on site and will be clearly visible. This includes disabled facilities. Also parking too will be provided. Please inform one of the parking stewards upon entry if a disabled space is required.
Food and drink will be available for purchase. Both cash and card accepted.
Registration and Playing times.
Below is our recommendation on registration of your squads.

U8, U10 and U11 girls

U10, U11 and U13 boys

REGISTRATION TIMES AND KICK OFF
Registration will OPEN from 7.30am- 8.45am for all AM kick offs.
For afternoon games, registration will OPEN from 12.30pm - 1.45pm.
AM kick offs will be 9.00am prompt and PM kick offs will be 2.00pm.
All games will start and finish on the airhorn.
Upon registration you WILL need to produce your player registration sheet and FA Full Time players/ squad list inc photos as issued for the 23/24 season. These will be checked against the forms our registration team have.
These are the team sheets which the manager sent us.
Please DO NOT bring players that do not appear on the registration sheet. There will be new players, of course, but any new player you are signing must be listed on a letter from your club secretary stating that you will be signing this player for the 24/25 season, there name and DOB will be provided on this letter. Any problems please inform us. Once a player has check in, he or she will receive a playing wristband! Please do not remove this whilst on the field of play. Without it referees could refuse play.
All managers have been notified of this rule, so please ensure this is followed. As said any pre registration issues let us know prior to the day. This is your responsibility not Medway Town FCs. Thank you in advance.
All tables will be live and will be updated via TOURNIFY. The Tournify QR code / app will be available at the Registration Tent on the day.
Playing rules :
12 min games straight! No half time
3 min turnarounds
U7-U10 half way line retreat in play.
U11-U14 NO half way line retreat.
Throw ins only (NOT) kick ins.
Rolling subs.
Normal FA rules apply to all teams.
All free kicks are DIRECT
All fouls are at the referee’s discretion.
All players will be wearing shin pads and appropriate footwear.
The team listed within the fixture first will provide the MATCH BALL.
For example Medway Town v Rainham Eagles (Medway Town to provide ball).
Playing format - (boys and girls)
U7 = 6v6
U8 = 6v6
U9 = 7v7
U10 = 7v7
U11 = 9v9
U12 = 9v9
U13 = 9v9
U14 = 9v9
In the event both teams are tied on points within the group stage, goals scored will apply. If still cannot be separated, the head to head result will apply. If this still does not separate a clear decision, 5 penalties will apply.
This is 5 penalties per team, NOT the best of.
This ruling on penalties will also be prevalent within the KNOCK OUT STAGES. 5 penalties per team.
If 5 penalties each are taken and scores level, sudden death will apply.
NOTE- in league format (group stages) the 5th placed team in all groups will be ELIMINATED.
Car parking and walk ins
This year we will be charging £3.00 entry, in which £1.00 will be going towards a charitable donation close to the club. This year it will be Macmillan Cancer Support. Both card machines and cash will be accepted and payable at the entrance gate.
Finally have a great day, let the kids enjoy it. It’s their day.
And please respect one another. As said a lot of hard work goes in to creating an event so please respect the playing areas.
