Gateshead RFC Gateshead RFC is an amateur club, offering rugby for all ages & abilities. Gateshead RFC is a Rugby Union club based at Eastwood Garden, Low Fell, Gateshead.

Our teams - Men’s 1st XV (DN1), Men’s 2nd XV (Candy League 2) & Women’s 1st XV (NC3)
Full youth boys’ & girls’ sections, mixed minis from age 4, plus mixed & Women's touch rugby. We pride ourselves on being a community club and have a variety of social events at the club including an award winning annual beer festival! As a club, we are always looking for new players of all ages, shapes and abilities.

Our first ever summer touch tournament was a huge success on Friday night. A big thank you to all of the teams and spectators who came down to make it a great evening and congratulations to our winners!

Congratulations to Titus Oshinowo, Will Goodall and Jamie Wheatley on their selection for the
Newcastle Red Bulls Under 18's and Development U17 Squad and travel to Malvern College this week to compete in the PREM Rugby Next Gen League, taking on some of the best young talent from Premiership Rugby academies.
It’s another proud moment that showcases the strength of our Mini & Junior pathway and the opportunities available to young players at the Club.

Gateshead Rugby Club are looking for an experienced chef to run our kitchen during our busy season period. Due to the nature of the game and season the job can change week to week. Includes match days for seniors men, Sundays breakfast menu for age grade parents/players and senior women's rugby post match meals. Going forward theme nights and other events are planned.
