A little autumn escape to Helmsley 🍂🤎
Helmsley is a beautiful historic market town on the edge of the North York Moors, the kind of place where you can spend a slow afternoon wandering around the market square, exploring little independent shops and cafés, and then head straight into the countryside.
It’s also a lovely spot for walking and cycling, with the North York Moors right on its doorstep 🚲🌿
And if you’re planning a visit this weekend, there’s something special happening: on 5 September, Helmsley will host the start of Stage 4 of the Tour of Britain, with the race heading all the way to Leyburn. There will also be a free pump track and family entertainment in the town. 🚴♂️✨
