International Day of Play was officially established by the United Nations General Assembly in 2024, with support from organisations including UNICEF and UNESCO, to champion every child's right to play and raise awareness of the vital role play has in childhood.

🌈 A milestone worth celebrating 🌈

I am delighted to share that I have officially qualified as a Therapeutic Play Practitioner with APAC and .

This qualification represents years of study, personal growth, clinical placements, supervision, reflection, and countless hours spent supporting children through the language they know best – play. 🌟

Alongside leading Rainbow Flow, I now offer Therapeutic Play support to schools, charities, community organisations and other settings looking to enhance emotional wellbeing provision for children and young people.

Therapeutic Play can provide children with a safe, accepting space to explore feelings, build resilience, process experiences and strengthen emotional wellbeing through creative and child-led play.

I am passionate about helping children feel seen, heard and understood, and I am excited to continue developing this work across Somerset, Wiltshire and the surrounding areas.

If your school, charity or organisation is looking for a qualified Therapeutic Play Practitioner, I would love to hear from you.
