Another example of our sparring drills.
Providing a framework drill with a degree of flexibility
Today looked at 3 2 1
A Enters with 3 strikes (2 punches and 1 kick ideally for us)
B defends and counters with 2 punches, (or any two strikes if your comfortable)
A defends and moves slighly away to the back right but still in a position to counter
Blocking but moving away from the power side. Not to far otherwise you can’t counter back
A comes back with single strike and exits
So be first be last and move
We can also look at it the other way
1 2 3
A propes with one strike ( jab, lead Teep, switch kick etc)
A Uses the probe to enter with two strikes
If B counters then A defends and counters with 3 strikes then exits
If B just shelled up after 2 and didnt counter then A attacks again with 3 then exits
Its again first then last principle
You may be at the probing stage for a while till you see a way it sets up for the opening and 2 strikes
