A big Happy New Year to all members and friends of Acre Gate Golf Club. Congratulations to Val Moore and Alan Hamilton for winning the Ladies and Gents New Years Day Trophies. Not easy in the conditions on Sunday. Well done to all who took part. Have a great year!

Excellent weekend of golf. Christmas comp won by Joyce Young, Paul Taylor, Alan Longden and Stuart Smith. Nearest the pin prizes went to Alison Smythe and Alf Parrington with this excellent shot on the 7th (any closer and he would be getting the beer in!). Well done to all those who braved the weather.
