We’re opening the gates for children going into Years 5, 6, 7 & 8 this September to come and try rugby in a fun, welcoming and supportive environment.

Whether your child has played in the past or is completely new to the game, these sessions are all about confidence building, teamwork, making friends and enjoying being active over the summer holidays.

Continuing our summer of rugby, Felixstowe Rugby Club is teaming up with East Coast Panthers Touch Rugby to bring Walking Touch Rugby to the Infinity Rugby Ground.

Same rugby spirit. Same team atmosphere. Just built to make the game more accessible for those less able to run.

No pressure. No experience needed. Just turn up and get involved.

At just 20 years old, Ronnie has already left a huge mark on Felixstowe Rugby Club and the wider community.

From joining the club as an 8-year-old back in 2013, to returning home to Felixstowe to play senior rugby, Ronnie has always embodied the values of teamwork, respect, discipline, enjoyment and sportsmanship.

After a serious shoulder injury sadly brought his playing career to a halt in 2024, Ronnie chose not to step away from the game. Instead, he threw himself into coaching our minis and youth sections, becoming a role model for so many young players and a valued part of our rugby family.

His energy, kindness and ability to make people feel seen has made a lasting impact on children, parents, players and supporters alike. In 2025, he also stepped into a first team coaching role, helping guide the club through one of its most successful seasons in over 30 years.

We are incredibly proud to share that Ronnie has now been awarded the HMS Ganges Youth Trophy by Felixstowe Town Council, recognising his outstanding voluntary contribution to the local community.
