THIS SATURDAY 🥳 My big community day at Felixstowe Rugby Club

Everything is COMPLETELY FREE and open to everyone, with loads going on throughout the afternoon - free activities for children, entertainment, free food, brand new free school uniforms being given out, local organisations, charities all there too. And a load more besides ❤️

Last year we had 450 of you joining in, and we're going even bigger this year and expecting even more of you to come along - more treats, more games and more to do.

Felixstowe West Pride in Place will also be there hosting our "big community brainstorm" where you get to share your ideas on how you would spend £20million to improve Felixstowe West 😁🥳

More opportunities for girls’ rugby in Felixstowe 💜

We’re really pleased to be welcoming Northampton Saints Community to Felixstowe Rugby Club 28th October for a girls-only rugby skills camp.

Another chance to get more girls on the pitch, building confidence, developing their rugby and having a great time doing it.

A brilliant start for our U14 girls 🏉

Yesterday they headed over to St Joseph's College for the first of two joint training sessions as part of our new cluster.

New teammates to meet, plenty of rugby and the chance to train together using the fantastic facilities at St Jo’s.

Handling, positional work, games and lots of getting to know each other along the way. A great first step towards bringing the group together for the season ahead.

After careful consideration and consultation with clubs across England, the RFU has decided to delay the start of the competitive community game season until the week commencing Monday 21 September.

The RFU recognises this will be disappointing for clubs, players and volunteers who have been preparing for the new season, but the decision follows consideration of a range of factors.
