The wait is over! From 7th July – 25th August 2026, Felixstowe Hockey Club is bringing back the summer programme that got everyone moving, sweating, laughing and playing hockey together.

🔴⚪ Another Busy Weekend at Felixstowe Hockey Club! ⚪🔴

Last weekend was another fantastic one for Felixstowe Hockey Club, with plenty happening both on and off the pitch.

A huge thank you to our wonderful hockey elves who gave up their time to help lift, clear, organise, and tidy our goalkeeper equipment shed and place the new goals, your hard work behind the scenes helps keep our club running smoothly and is greatly appreciated by everyone.

We were delighted to take delivery of our brand-new custom-built Walking Hockey goals. This exciting investment has only been possible thanks to the incredible support of our sponsors, partners, builders, and funding providers.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Scott Clements Murray MML Commercial for building and delivering the goals, along with Oliver Ambrose and Active Suffolk , Sarah Shinnie at East Suffolk Council & Felixstowe & District Council for Sports and Recreation for their invaluable support in helping make this project a reality. Thanks to this collaboration, Felixstowe Hockey Club has now taken receipt of four Walking Hockey goals, along with additional bibs and balls to support our growing Walking Hockey programme.

This investment is about much more than equipment. It enables us to run two Walking Hockey sessions simultaneously, creating more opportunities for more people within our community to enjoy the sport, stay active, make new friendships, and experience the many benefits hockey can bring.

At Felixstowe Hockey Club, we are committed to being inclusive, welcoming, and supportive, and this latest development is another important step in helping us continue to grow the game for everyone.

Thank you to everyone involved in making this happen, the future of Walking Hockey in Felixstowe has never looked brighter!

🔴⚪ FELIXSTOWE HOCKEY CLUB - CELEBRATING CLUB MEMBERS ⚪🔴

Whilst we always love seeing our players pulling on the shirt for their home teams and representing Felixstowe Hockey Club, today we're especially proud of two of our club stalwarts.

A huge congratulations and good luck to our wonderful lynchpins, Matthew Walker and James "Jimmy" Walker, who are representing East Hockey at the Over 50s competition at Surbiton Hockey Club this weekend.

With Matthew taking on the role of Team Manager and Jimmy battling it out on the pitch, they continue to showcase the dedication, passion and commitment that make them such valued members of our hockey family.

This highly competitive two-day event brings together some of the finest players from across the country, and we know both will do East Hockey and Felixstowe proud.

Please join us in wishing Matthew and Jimmy the very best of luck in the comments below! 👏🏑

Whatever the final results may be, a massive WELL DONE from the Senior Committee and Social Media Team, you are true hockey legends, and we are incredibly proud of everything you continue to achieve both on and off the pitch.

To know how far we’ve come, we have to look back and celebrate those who helped build the club before us. Every match played, every away trip, every post-match story… it’s all part of the journey that made us who we are today.
