A brilliant day of football took place as Fermanagh Coaching & Games hosted our 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 πŸ— Post Primary School Blitz in Lissan, with over 𝟐̳𝟎̳𝟎̳ 𝐩π₯𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬 taking part from πŸ• 𝐬𝐜𝐑𝐨𝐨π₯𝐬 across the county.

In total, πŸπŸ• 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 competed throughout the day, with players showcasing great skill, teamwork, effort and school pride in a fantastic series of games.

The competition was played in great spirit, with plenty of closely contested matches across all sections.

πŸ† In the boys’ '𝐀 π…π’π§πšπ₯', St Michael’s 1 came out on top against St Aidan’s Derrylin 1 after a strong and competitive final.

πŸ‘ The boys’ '𝐁 π…π’π§πšπ₯' saw St Mary’s Irvinestown overcome St Joseph’s in a very competitive match, with both teams producing some excellent football.

πŸ’ͺ In the boys’ '𝐂 π…π’π§πšπ₯', St Kevin’s 1 finished strongly to defeat St Joseph’s 2 and claim the title.

πŸ† In the girls’ '𝐀 π…π’π§πšπ₯', Mount Lourdes edged past St Kevin’s by a single point after a fantastic contest.

πŸ‘ The girls’ '𝐁 π…π’π§πšπ₯' saw St Fanchea’s come out on top against St Aidan’s Derrylin after another competitive game.

A huge well done to all players who took part and represented their schools with pride throughout the blitz.

A massive thank you to all the schools and staff members who attended, coached and supported their players throughout the blitz.

Thanks also to all the coaches who refereed games and helped ensure the smooth running of the day.

A special word of thanks to our Senior County players Sean Cassidy and Mattie McDermott for giving their time to referee games and support the future stars of Fermanagh football.

Final thanks to Keith Reilly for coordinating the overall blitz and to Megan McCann for coordinating the girls’ section.

Well done to all involved in another fantastic day of school football. πŸ‘πŸSt. Michael’s College, EnniskilleneMount Lourdes Grammar SchooloSt Mary's College, IrvinestownwSaint Fanchea's CollegegSaint Kevin's CollegegStAidans DerryliniSt. Joseph's College Enniskillenen
