My favourite parts of being a personal trainer that isn’t increasing strength or losing weight.
1. Being a part of the journey in growing a client’s confidence, celebrating every milestone from getting through the gym gates for the first time to training independently, to feeling confident in their physical abilities, and creating positive mindsets.
2. Sharing the real life moments with clients. The weddings, the big birthdays, the first homes, the promotions at work. The life wins that happen outside the gym door.
3. The conversations between sets. Sharing book recommendations, learning about new hobbies like loom weaving! And being inspired to try new things like hill climbing and paddle boarding!
4. It’s building a community, seeing clients train together, share their wins and support each other!
Being a personal trainer isn’t just about the 45 minute sessions in a week, it’s about having a role in a client’s journey, and honestly, that’s the best part 🥰
