The 2024-2025 season marks our fifth year of service in Hokkaido and a one off opportunity has opened up for any CASI level 1 instructors still looking for work this season!

If you’ve ever dreamed of working at one of the world’s most renowned ski destinations, Hokkaido, and if you are eager to develop your ski teaching skills while enjoying an incredible winter experience, don’t miss the opportunity below!

Position Details

Position: Chinese-English Ski Instructor (Skiing/Snowboarding; dual-skill instructors will receive a higher salary)
Qualifications:
1. A strong passion for ski instruction
2. A positive, optimistic personality and willingness to adapt to team life
3. Hold a valid international ski instructor certification
4. Already hold a valid Japanese work visa
5. Native-level fluency in Chinese (Mandarin proficiency preferred)
6. Basic conversational and instructional English skills

Work Conditions
• Work Period: January 2025– April 2025 (negotiable)
• Work Locations: Teine, Hoshino Resorts Tomamu, and other areas in Hokkaido
• Work Schedule: Shift-based (4-6 days off per month)
• Salary: negotiable

HAKUBA 2023 ✔️

I feel very grateful to be able to return to Japan and the ski industry for my 4th season after an involuntary 2 season covid break. I love the area, the sport, the people and the role.

If anyone is looking at Hakuba for next winter and wants any tips on resorts, accom etc then just ask ✌️
