Content has been lacking recently… so here’s a reel. We are back with pre-season, meaning your favourite social media account is back in business. Admin got involved today so it’s a short one but stay tuned as there are some exciting plans in the works over the next few weeks 😏

Today’s pre-season session was at portobello beach for some fitness and then a whole load of touch - before some of the boys cooled off in the beautiful water.

25/26 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS

Here are your Leith Youth Rugby seasons highlights from what has been an incredible year for youth rugby here at Leith.

We’ve been as far north as Invergordon and as south as Berwick, expanded and invested in our girls rugby programme, delivered sessions to over 2500 young people and have seen remarkable improvements in our young people’s behaviour, attitude, and character.

Grab a brew, get comfy, and enjoy our 10-minute highlight video. We are incredibly proud of what we have done this season and would love you to take a few minutes to watch.

🏅☀️ SUMMER CAMPS ☀️🏅

LINK IN BIO TO SIGN-UP!!

We are delighted to announce our sports programme for this summer with an action packed second-half of the summer holidays!

➡️ We are running our first-ever Girls only 2-day camp during the fourth week of the holiday.
➡️ Our always popular 4-day Multi-Sports camp takes place in the fifth summer holiday week.
➡️ And as the summer holiday begins to feel like it’s dragging on - your kids can end the holidays, out of the house, with our 3-Day rugby camp!

All camps take place at Leith Academy, are £15 per day, and are for Primary 1 - S4 (Girls Only is P4-S4!)

📸 Leith Cashback 7s 2026

Yesterday we hosted our annual Cashback 7s tournament in what was our biggest Cashback tournament yet. What started as a girls touch tournament has now developed into contact 7s with both boys and girls teams competing from Cashback schools across Scotland! We welcomed an enormous 22 teams to Leith Academy, playing on 5 pitches consecutively.

We had success from both Leith teams. Our Boys won the plate after a strong semi-final and final performance, whilst our girls do what they do best and went all the way to lift the cup 🏆👏

Boys Bowl: Auchmuty
Boys Cup: Greenfield
Girls Bowl: St Paul’s
Girls Plate: Greenfield

A massive thank you to everyone who attended the tournament (the Calcutta cup even made an appearance!), to create such a special day celebrating all things state-school rugby.
