🏳️🌈For Week 9 of Pick-Up Games, we are collaborating with Leap Sport Scotland to deliver the session as will part of Festival Fortnight, Scotland’s own LGBTQ+ Sport festival!
Come to Middle Meadow Walk this evening and next Thursday (7-8:30pm) to try out and enjoy Quadball, a uniquely q***r and trans inclusive sport! Just show up in your trainers and join in. Quadball has been a gateway “first” sport for many q***r and trans folks, acting as a stepping stone that allows these players to build better confidence and try other sports!

❓About Festival Fortnight
This festival aims to increase the visibility and participation of le***an, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and q***r (LGBTIQ+) people in Scottish sport, and provides opportunities to raise awareness of LGBTIQ+ and wider equality, inclusion, and human rights issues within the world of sport and physical activity.
❓ What is Quadball?
On each team, four players are CHASERS, and they use a volleyball to score points in opponents’ hoops. Two players are BEATERS, who use dodgeballs to temporarily eliminate opponents and prevent them from scoring. This is all played while mounted on sticks between your legs! Twenty minutes into the game a referee comes on with a Yellow Flag, each team fields a Seeker to capture this flag, which is worth 30 points!
