Who knew netball could also double as endurance training? ๐โโ๏ธโโก๏ธ
Playing at 7pm in temperatures over 30ยฐC definitely wasnโt for the faint-hearted this season! Frozen water bottles and ice packs were worth their weight in gold, and the shady court suddenly became the most sought-after position in netball. ๐งโ๏ธ๐
Despite the heat, itโs been a fantastic season for both Forest Row teams. ๐๐
๐ Row Rockets finished 5th out of 9 teams โ our highest-ever league finish! Even better, towards the end of the season we were regularly taking points from teams sitting much higher in the table, showing just how much weโve developed together. ๐
๐ช๏ธ Row Nadoes may still be waiting for that first win, but the progress this season has been huge. New combinations, growing confidence and some of our highest scores yet have shown just how far the team has come in such a short space of time. All this anticipation is only going to make that first win taste even sweeter! ๐

Players of the Match
One thing weโre particularly proud of this season is how many different players received Player of the Match votes. These are awarded by our umpires, giving an independent view of who stood out on court.
๐ Row Rockets POM Winners:
Rose & Kat
๐ Row Nadoes POM Winners:
Laura, Ferne, Catriona, Ellie B & Sophia
The fact that five different Nadoes players received votes says so much about the teamโs development and how our players have made an impact in different ways each week. ๐
๐ซ Learning from the Best
One of the highlights of the season was welcoming Leanne Watson-Charles - The Netball Coach for a specialist coaching session, bringing lots of new ideas, skills and challenges for players across both teams.
The feedback was so positive that weโre already looking at ways to run coaching sessions more regularly. If thatโs something youโd be interested in, let us know! ๐ฌ
A huge thank you to our umpires, committee, supporters and players for making another fun and memorable season possible. ๐๐
Hereโs to the next one! ๐คฉ๐
