📢 OFFICIALS WE NEED YOU: PROTECT OUR PLAYING COURTS/FIELDS 🏐

England Netball is urging the netball community to act to help protect the courts and playing fields our sport depends on.

The Government is proposing changes to planning rules that could remove Sport England from decisions about new developments, weakening protections for community sports facilities and putting grassroots netball at risk.

You can help in two quick ways:

For the Government to ensure strong safeguards for playing fields, pitches and community sports facilities by maintaining Sport England’s status as a statutory consultee for planning applications involving playing fields.

The INTO Officiating Award is the mandatory starting point for all new umpires into the Officiating Pathway. Conducted virtually over two sessions, the course will help you to understand the fundamental rules of the game, as well as cover the basics of positioning and movement and building your whistle confidence.

Please can all teams ensure they are on court at 7 and 8.20 respectively all bibbed up and ready to play. The league will be holding 2 minutes silence to commemorate the men and women who died during world war 1 and 2 , as well as those who lost their lives in wars preceding. It will be central timed . Games are to start play after. Thank you
