On Sunday 17th May, Amelia, Chloe and Isla from our U12 girls team went to Horsham RFC to experience a match day set up with the Sussex Women.

Together with a number of other U12 girls from teams across Sussex they got to watch the Sussex Women take on, and beat, Herts Women.

The girls got to meet the Sussex team followed with a Q&A, played some touch rugby and were flag bearers and mascots for the game.

The rain held and it was a fantastic afternoon to experience and watch county rugby.

East Grinstead RFC - in conjunction with the RFU and Red Roses - are offering a free intro to rugby, continuing 8th April until the end of the season and, with the Women's 6 Nations starting this weekend, there is no better time to give it a go!

A great day at Twickenham! A number of players, siblings, parents and grandparents from our girls section travelled to Twickenham to watch the Red Roses take on Ireland.

It didn't disappoint and everyone had a fab day 🌹🏉
