The course has gently undulating fairways and large deciduous trees as features. The golf course is only a few miles from the world renowned Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and boasts incredible views over the River Clyde. Cardross Golf Club is situated on the A814 and is easily accessible from the city of Glasgow, which is only a 35 minute drive away. There is also a direct train between the village and the city. Glasgow Airport is only 20 minutes away making Cardross ideal for a golfing holiday. Cardross is an 18 hole parkland course with a par of 71 and a length of 5911m. The course is set on an interesting layout with some great, challenging holes and tends to play longer than the yardage suggests. Visitor and societies are welcome to play Cardross Golf Club and tee times can be booked throughout the week. Some discounted tee times will be available using the online booking system. Green fees for this course are very reasonable. Prices may vary according to season and weekend tickets are typically more expensive. Clubs and pull and electric trolleys and buggies are available to hire from the club. Cardross has a very welcoming and comfortable clubhouse fully equipped with changing and locker room facilities. The club has a bar serving a wide selection of drinks and excellent catering is available, must be booked in advance during winter months. Cardross has a well-stocked professional’s shop selling a variety of golfing equipment and accessories. The shop always try and offer price matches and try to beat a cheaper price. Golf tuition is also available. The club has a practice area and a putting green which are perfect for golfers who wish to fine tune their skills and warm up before a round on the course.
