Good evening,

Hope your all well,

Port Glasgow Juniors 2009s have been drawn away to Devronvale FC,
We are Travelling to Banff, Aberdeenshire next Saturday 22nd November in the Youth Football Scotland Scottish Cup,

As you can imagine the travel expenses alone to get to the north of Scotland is a massive outlay for a volunteer led youth football team,

So I thought what better way to try contact some businesses in the local area by using the great power of our page and following to see if they would be willing to sponsor or donate to the club to help get us there 🙏🙌😁

Any company who either sponsors or donates to the travel will get a lot of exposure on our official page Port Glasgow Juniors Community Sports Club and also our 2009s page and any write ups in the local press, photo opportunities the business or businesses will be tagged along side the photos to try create as much exposure.

Fingers crossed I can get this out to as many as possible and hopefully get it to the right people!

The boys travelled all the way to Inverkeithing Hifield Swifts today in the Scottish cup,
All the way to the kingdom of Fife!

Tricky conditions, soggy park, howling wind,

Great away day.

Boys dominated first half, just couldn't put the game away, second half turn around,
Gale force winds against in second half hurt us but all the boys dug in and got us to the end, some great football on the deck,
Liam gaffney with 2 👏 and Josh Williamson with 1.🙌
Josh hit the post in regulation time and Liam nearly scored from the half way line!

Drew 3.3 but straight to pens no extra time as is the Scottish cup and we win 4.3 on penalties
Meaning Raed didn't have to take.
Super proud of every player today
Port Glasgow Juniors 2009s scored all our pens taken but
Ryan Moore saving 2 penalties in the shoot out and 1 during the game sorted the result,
Ryan's managed to bag himself ref and opposition man of the match in the last 2 games against Barrhead and now Inverkeithing,
well done wee man 🙌🫡👏🫡🙌

We move on ⚫⚪🔴

Diane is a massive part of the Port Glasgow Juniors 2009s behind the scenes so the club are chuffed to bits it's her number that came out

Could a been 2 up in the first 5mins in with 2 great strikes but keeper was equal to them!
He's gonna be raging tho cos their Veo camera man forgot to switch it on🫣

Gary glancy had their defence in knots and quite rightly got man of the match another outstanding performance.

We move on to Saturday for game 4 of 4 in 7days,
The same opponents in glenvale except it's the divisional cup this time .
