𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝟏𝟐-𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐉𝐚𝐛 & 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐃𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐲 (𝐃𝐌𝐃) and, most importantly, 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐧, 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟐 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐥𝐝. 💙

Jensen’s sister is one of our kickboxers and part of our 𝐈𝐌𝐀 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲, so this is a cause that is very close to our hearts. We wanted to do something special in Jensen’s name — something that brings our whole martial arts family and wider community together to raise money and awareness for Duchenne.

𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼… 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻. 💙

🥊 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗘

For 𝟭𝟮 𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧, from 7am until 7pm, we want to keep those jabs and crosses going!

Our children will work in pairs, each taking on a 30-minute slot, with our adult kickboxers joining the challenge too.

Our mission is to fill as many of those half-hour slots as possible and create one huge team effort throughout the entire day.

💙 𝐖𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔!

We would absolutely love to see as many of our Rising Stars children as possible getting involved.
If your child would like to take part, please let us know their availability and we will allocate them a 30-minute slot.

We'd also love everyone to help us spread the word, share our fundraiser and collect sponsorship wherever possible. Every single donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference.

🥊 DORSET TOURNAMENT – SUNDAY 4TH OCTOBER! 🥊

We’re excited to welcome our students back to Charlton Marshall Village Hall for our next Kickboxing & Taekwondo Tournament! ⭐

Tournament days are such a brilliant opportunity to put all that hard work in class into practice, challenge yourself, build confidence and, most importantly, have fun!

There will also be a café serving hot and cold refreshments and our Rising Stars shop, with uniform and equipment available on the day.

A HUGE congratulations to our very own Miss Sophie Webber who absolutely smashed her 3rd Degree Black Belt grading today!

At Rising Stars, our instructors are always looking for ways to improve themselves, develop their knowledge and continue learning — so they can pass that knowledge, experience and passion straight back to our students. ⭐️

Sophie is a fantastic example of exactly that. She continues to train hard, push herself and lead by example, showing our Rising Stars that no matter what belt you wear, there is always more to learn and always another goal to work towards.

We are incredibly proud of you, Sophie, and feel very lucky to have you as part of the IMA Rising Stars team.

🥊🔥 𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒 🔥🥊

Straight back to it! 👊

Monday night saw our Elite students back on the mats and getting stuck straight into training — less than 24 hours after grading for many of them! 😮‍💨

After weeks of hard work, preparation and putting themselves through their paces at Sunday’s grading, they could have quite easily taken the night off… but that’s not how our Elite crew roll! 💪

They showed up, worked hard, pushed each other and got straight back into doing what they love.

There’s something pretty special about watching this group train — the effort, the determination, the camaraderie and the constant drive to improve.

🥋⭐️ WHAT A GRADING! ⭐️🥋

A huge WELL DONE to every single student who took part in yesterday’s grading!

We are incredibly proud of you all. You worked hard, pushed yourselves and gave it everything you had — and that is something to be so proud of!

For some of our students, yesterday was their first ever public grading, and watching them overcome their nerves and fears and step onto that floor was absolutely amazing. 🥹❤️ It takes real courage to put yourself out there, and you should all be so proud of yourselves!

A massive thank you to all of our Black Belts and helpers who gave up their time to come in early, help set everything up and then support, encourage and push our students throughout the grading. Your time, energy and encouragement make such a difference. 🖤🥋

And a huge THANK YOU to Team Denny for running the café and keeping everyone fuelled with all the cakes, snacks and drinks! Your support was hugely appreciated!

To every student who graded — whatever belt you walked away with, remember that the biggest achievement was having the courage to step up, give it your all and challenge yourself.

💦 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐀𝐍 𝐀𝐁𝐒𝐎𝐋𝐔𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐘 𝐀𝐖𝐄𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐘! 💦

Our Dorset Water Park trip was everything we could have hoped for and more! So much fun, laughter, splashing but oddly, not a wet instructor in sight 🤔

It was just what we all needed before the new term starts — a chance to switch off, have fun together, make memories and enjoy being a little bit silly! 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made the day so special. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day! 🥰
