The last junior competition for July was held today and the juniors were tuned in on improving their putting skills. Led by ‘Peter Putter’ they lined up, got their bodies positioned and refined their directional skills. What a crew!

The junior golfers have been busy competing in the Daniel Ferguson Trophy Competition today. Some excellent golf was played and lots of fun was had. Well done to all of those who took part and a huge thanks to our amazing volunteers.

Congratulations to Our Fantastic Ladies! 👏

A huge congratulations to Suzy Walsh & Kerry Gooding on their fantastic 3rd place finish in the Golf Ireland Ulster (South) Women's Australian Spoons Competition, held here at Donaghadee Golf Club on Monday. They have now qualified for the National Finals in Longford next month – we wish them every success! 🎉

Well done also to Teresa McKinney & Gillian Uprichard, who achieved an excellent 5th place in a very strong field of 88 competitors.

Suzy and Kerry will also be representing the club on Monday 27th July at Royal Co Down in the Regional Finals of the Daisy Ferguson. Best of luck.

We are incredibly proud of all four ladies for representing Donaghadee Golf Club so brilliantly.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success and gave our visitors such a warm Donaghadee welcome. 💙💛

GOLF SIXES TEAM SMASH IT AT BLACKWOOD!

The Junior Section supported by Strand Homes are delighted to announce that today, Donaghadee qualified for the Ulster Final of Golf Sixes.

With a fantastic WINNING score of 36 shots, our squad came first ahead of Kirkistown in 2nd place.

A fine achievement for such a young team.

Every player should be really proud of both how well they played and how well they have represented Donaghadee Juniors!

Junior Boys go close at Castlereagh ⛳️

Yesterday at Castlereagh Hills, our Junior team represented Donaghadee Golf Club in the Ulster Boys Interclub (South Region), delivering an outstanding performance.

They finished in a very impressive 2nd place out of 22 teams, missing out on qualifying for the national finals by a single point — a result they earned through some truly exceptional golf.

Every player should be immensely proud of themselves. They were a credit to the Club.

The future of junior golf at Donaghadee looks incredibly bright.
