We’d like to wish Eddie Busby a safe journey home to Perth after a hugely successful season with the club. 🇦🇺

Eddie fitted in seamlessly from day one and was a fantastic addition to our league-winning 1st XI. His contribution throughout the season was first class.

It was also brilliant to welcome Eddie’s mum and dad, Jodie and Ian, over to Northern Ireland. They were great supporters of the club throughout the season! 🟢⚫

Thanks for everything, Eddie, and all the best for your season with Subiaco-Floreat. We’ll be keeping a close eye on those stats! 🏏

The club was saddened to hear of the recent passing of Derek Clegg.

Derek was a lifelong supporter of Donaghadee Cricket Club, where he served as President and captained the 2nd and 3rd XI at different stages.

He also coached many young cricketers at the Dee and was a familiar and much-loved presence on the sideline at Northfield, supporting the teams for many years.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Derek’s family and friends at this sad time.

A special year for the 1s 🏆

12 wins from 14 league games saw the lads clinch the Mercury Senior League 3 title, while they also reached the final of the T20 Shield.

A fantastic level of commitment throughout the season, and it showed on the field.
