Our new greens maintenance equipment is now in action! ⛳️

This week, the team put our new Sarel roller and verticutting cassettes to work on the greens.

These treatments help improve air and water movement through the turf, reduce thatch and organic matter, and encourage healthier, more consistent playing surfaces. Best of all, they can be carried out with minimal disruption to golfers during the season.

🏆 MIDLANDS GOLF CLUB OF THE YEAR 2025/26 🏆

We are incredibly proud to announce that Mickleover Golf Club has officially been presented with the award for Midlands Golf Club of the Year 2025/26.

After being shortlisted alongside five other golf clubs across the region, and following a detailed judging process that included a mystery visit, Mickleover Golf Club was selected as the overall winner.

The award recognised our commitment to excellence across a number of areas including our social media presence, website, coaching initiatives, charitable work, positive online reviews and, most importantly, the experience we provide for members and visitors alike.

This achievement belongs to everyone connected with the club. Our dedicated staff, valued volunteers and fantastic members all play a part in creating the friendly, welcoming atmosphere that makes Mickleover Golf Club such a special place.

A huge thank you to everyone who continues to support the club. We are delighted to display the trophy proudly in the clubhouse and celebrate this fantastic recognition together.
