Hallowes Ladies Shine at the Yorkshire Challenge Bowl.

Golfers from all four corners of Yorkshire gathered to compete in this year’s Challenge Bowl, with Hallowes Golf Club once again proudly represented by a strong team of players.

Hallowes enjoyed an excellent start, with Lynn Harrison, Judith Race, Di Watterson, and Vicky Hill all securing places in the last 16.

During the weekend Vicky showed her excellent form and managed to get to the final in difficult conditions, with one of the many Heatwaves in the UK. This marks the first time since 2013 that a Hallowes lady has reached the final of the Challenge Bowl.

Vicky’s outstanding performance earned her the prestigious Pontefract Ladies Trophy. See pictures of the day below.

The Hallowes Ladies Rabbits team played at Chatsworth golf club on Monday 13th July.

It was a friendly competition played in beautiful weather and with great views of the Chatsworth estate on the way round.

We played in mixed teams 2 Hallowes ladies and 2 Chatsworth ladies on each.

The Chatsworth ladies also provided lovely home made scones with jam, cream and strawberries after the match - perfect!
