EPZ Omloop Borsele🇳🇱 report from Maia representing Denmark at the weekend.

12th in the ITT and 13th GC :)
Stage 2- spent the last 20 minutes with no back brake so couldn't quite pull off the leadout we'd planned
Stage 3- A crash, bike swap and chase back on in the last 10km, followed by another crash in the finishing straight wasn't quite in the plan, so rolled into the finish again.
An absolute pleasure to be racing with and strong rides from the whole team, just a shame we had more than our fair share of crashes and mechanicals.

Solid result Maia after a problematic weekend. Well done for overcoming the issues.

We've not had a motivational Friday for a while so today's focuses on making goals that are achievable.

This process of making small achievable goals ensures focus is maintained, confidence is built and that the result isn't the only win come race day. There are many positives from a race, even on a bad day.

Well done to Izzy taking an excellent p23 in Sunday's London academy race. Mixing it with the adults in a big field and Izzy really showed that this winters hard work was worth it, 7th junior overall is also an excellent result.

Great work Izzy, I'm very pleased for you

Well done to Cody taking a P2 today at Rhyl after a significant period of injury. A national race weekend but Cody knew he wouldn't be national ready so decided to try a regional today to test himself.

A very positive step forward Cody. The form will come back.

Well done
