Tyke Trial

Tyke Trial The UK's Largest BikeTrial Club based in and around the county of Yorkshire. And it's not just the boys that ride, we have the ladies and girls riding too.

TykeTrial was launched in 1997, and originally set in the Yorkshire Dales with some of England's best rocks for riding trials. Venues such as the world famous Addingham Moorside, known as the site of the first ever World BikeTrial Championship to be held in the UK, and the home training ground for World Champion motortrials rider, Dougie Lampkin. Venues adjacent to the famous tourist attraction of

Brimham Rocks, and the very popular Shipley Glen and Harden Moor, are amongst many used. The club also run events in north Derbyshire using popular venues such as Dudwood Farm, Bracken Rocks and Burrycliff Quarry. We're made from true grit here in Yorkshire, with our youngest riders at just six years old, with their old-timer dads competing alongside them it makes for a fun family day out. They start with us as youngsters, and keep going through to being a World Champion (at least for some)!

17th May we will hopefully be running the British BikeTrial Championship. Please note the word hopefully, the venue we are hoping to use is a great natural trials venue but will not be suitable if we suffer a lot of rain on the run up to the event.
At the moment it’s bone dry and will make a great event on terrain different to what a lot of you will be used to.
We will take entries via direct message and you can pay on the day.
Fingers crossed there is no prolonged rain over the next couple of weeks.
