Well… I can’t quite believe I’m typing this. After a lot of talking, thinking, and a few reality checks with the boys, I’ve finally got something to share............
We’re going again in 2027.
CalonRacing continues.
I’m beyond excited. I just simply love motorbike racing and as long as that love stays alive, I’ll keep living the dream.
Events for 2027 are still to be confirmed, but honestly, I’m just grateful we’ll be out there. And trust me, the winter off‑season won’t be quiet. We’ve got plenty to do, fixing James’s bike after its terminal issue, and working on improving the handling on Mike’s.
We’ve been incredibly fortunate this season with tremendous product support and individuals who’ve sponsored our journey. We are forever grateful, without you, none of this would happen. And as we head into 2027, we really hope you’ll continue to support us, follow us, and be part of the story. Your backing genuinely keeps us going.
This is also the perfect opportunity to thank the incredible orange army , the marshals who stand out there in all weather and make it possible for us to do what we love. And to the photographers who capture our memories and moments we’d otherwise miss, thank you.

We’re very lucky to have such brilliant supporters who share the journey with us. We’ve been absolutely rubbish at keeping up with the monthly draws, so we’re catching up...... better late than never.
This months (and the few missing months) Supporters Club winners are: 1, 50, 80, 83, 89 and 70.
As 1 and 70 are family members, we spun again, landing on 75 and 42.
We’ll be in touch with your thank‑you surprises, lovingly donated by my mum.

So here it is, our year in a fact sheet. The trophies and lap times are great, but they’re only part of the story. Racing isn’t just about points, positions or time sheets. It’s about the people you meet and the memories you make along the way.

It’s the late nights in the garage getting the bike ready. It’s the brews, the banter and the cakes in the paddock. It’s the rival who lends you a hand, and the friends and families who stand in the rain just to cheer you on. It’s the matching team hats, the smiles, and that quiet sense of pride on the drive home. Those are the things that make every weekend worthwhile, whatever the results say.

And of course, none of it would be possible without the people behind us. To James and Mike, our club supporters, sponsors, friends, families, photographers, organisers, marshals, and everyone who stops by to say hello in the paddock, thank you. Your loyal support means more than you know, and it’s kept us on track week in, week out.

Oulton Park Weekend Update 🏁

What a couple of days! Friday’s test was a full mix of rain, sunshine and a serious breeze, plus more wheel changes than we could count. Still, plenty of laps and a good chance to get dialled back into the circuit.
Saturday brought the full team together for qualifying, but with no reception and no tannoy, we ended up heading out later than ideal and straight into traffic. That left us starting 7th and 15th. Not the greatest.
Race 1…….Not the best launch off the line, but both riders dug in. Mike finished 5th after a moment at Shell let the front group escape, but still smashed a personal best time by 1.5 seconds in October conditions. Outstanding!!! James fought hard through the pack to finish 13th and strengthen his Wirral 100 points lead.
Race 2…..A snapped brake fluid reservoir ended Mike’s race on lap one (yes… another one!), leaving James to fly the flag and he absolutely delivered. Rider after rider, he pushed through to finish 5th overall and 1st in the Wirral 100 Championship, plus a personal best by half a second. A brilliant battle into Turn 1 with rider #3 had me holding my breath every lap. Incredible riding.
James secured the Wirral 100 Championship, with a full season review coming soon.
Huge thanks to NG Racing Club, the officials, paddock crew, and especially the orange army who stood out in some brutal weather to keep racing safe. And thank you to everyone who came to support us and to our loyal sponsors, we just simply couldn’t do it without you.
Today is definitely a blanket‑on‑the‑sofa kind of day to recover. If I shared any germs, I apologise , I did try to keep my distance!

We started the year at Oulton Park, so there’s no better way to finish it than heading back there. It’s a local circuit the boys both enjoy, and they’ll be out in force, Mike running #108 and James on #210.
If anyone fancies a jolly, get in touch and I’ll sort some tickets.
Heard tonight that they’ve had to turn away ten riders in the Twin class, so it’s shaping up to be a cracking meeting. James will also be looking to secure The Wirral 100 Championship, adding even more excitement to the weekend.
Can’t wait.

They say a picture paints a thousand words and today’s pictures do exactly that. It’s been a phenomenal day for us as a team, securing 1st and 2nd on the road and in class. James found his rhythm and was absolutely brilliant, and Mike, despite still not having the right set‑up just dominated from start to finish.
To everyone who came over to support us, to lend a hand, to cheer us on: thank you. You know who you are. And to our sponsors, loyal club supporters and followers, today is for you. Without your backing, we simply couldn’t do what we love.
I needed a racing weekend to clear my head, and I can’t begin to explain how much I love racing and being surrounded by like‑minded people. It’s been a cracking day, and I’m unbelievably proud of what the boys achieved.
We also want to send our sincere get‑well wishes to our fellow competitors involved in this morning’s awful incident. 🖤💛

Day 1 Recap!!!!!1
Qualifying was run in wet conditions, but Mike went for it straight away and stuck the Aprilia on pole. James battled for grip yet still secured a strong 5th overall (4th in class). Solid start from both given the conditions.
By race time the track had dried, though the race was shortened to six laps after an incident on the warm‑up lap. Mike’s start was okay, the Aprilia’s never launch brilliantly. James got shuffled about in the opening corners.
We’re still chasing the right setup on Mike’s bike, and he had to wrestle with it throughout. Lewis had just that bit extra, and Mike brought it home in 2nd overall, 1st in class. James found himself held up and stuck in battles he didn’t need, leaving him frustrated with the result. He’ll put that right tomorrow!!!!
A quick note, despite what the commentator said, bike 180 is not some all‑singing, all‑dancing machine. Yes, it’s a Twin and has the legs on a Next Gen, but after the Southern issue it’s far from perfect. And let’s not forget, Mike is probably double the age of the winner and about four stone heavier 🤣🤣. Honour appreciated, accuracy questionable.
We go again today with a 14‑lap race and a 10‑lap race, both streamed live on YouTube. Tune in and keep the support coming. Thanks everyone for the messages.

Another race weekend here at Anglesey, my favourite place and we’re fully set up. Unfortunately, the weather is absolutely grim.
Mike managed a couple of sessions during yesterday’s test day before conditions forced the day to be abandoned due to high winds and rain. With so little track time, and the wind being what it was, we didn’t get enough laps to dial in a proper setup.
Today brings qualifying and one eight‑lap race, with us heading out first at 9:30am. The forecast promised improvement and a dry day, but I can confirm that is not the case right now.
Thank you shout out to those who help our journey, the ones who support us and for all the likes and comments. Damn it is miserable out there!!!
