Volunteers keep clubs going.

Steve Ashfield gives his time to the club, week after week — and without him and the grounds team, after the driest summer since 1836, the pitches would be looking worse for wear. Instead, in Jon Davies's words: "as somebody who currently spends a lot of time in different clubs, I can confirm Dav's pitch is looking great."

Thank you, Steve. Thank you, grounds team.

First game on that pitch: Saturday, v Old Leamingtonians, 3pm.

𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗬 𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗚𝗥𝗢𝗪𝗡 𝗥𝗨𝗚𝗕𝗬 𝗞𝗜𝗧?
As the new rugby season gets underway at Daventry this Sunday, we’re asking families to have a quick look through their wardrobes, rugby bags and cupboards for any kit that their child has grown out of over the summer to donate to the Club Shop.

If you have rugby shirts, shorts, socks, boots or other kit that is still in good, usable condition that you are happy to donate, please drop off at the Club Shop on Sunday morning. Your old kit could be just what another young player needs to get started or keep playing, while helping us make rugby more affordable, accessible and sustainable for everyone.

The club shop is open this Sunday, while the Minis & Juniors train.

Club kit, merch, and pre-loved items donated by players. It is run by volunteers and doesn't carry every size, so it is worth a look
rather than a promise.

Bringing something is as welcome as buying something — any rugby kit you no longer wear goes on the rail for someone who will.

See you at the clubhouse.
