We are on a two week countdown to the return of the season of minis rugby at Daventry RFC.

With opportunities for both boys and girls all ages from 5 - 12 to get involved in our Minis section, there is no better club to start (or restart!) your rugby journey. Constantly supported and encouraged by our qualified and experienced coaching team, every player is guaranteed opportunities to play and develop.

U13 Wednesday 6pm-7pm & Sunday 10am-11am
U14 Wednesday 7pm - 8pm & Sunday 10am - 11am
U15 Tuesday 6pm - 7pm
U16 Tuesday 6pm - 7pm, Thursday 6pm - 7pm & Sunday 11am - 12pm

Whether you're an experienced player or completely new to rugby, come and give it a go. Expect fun, teamwork, new friends, and plenty of rugby in a welcoming environment.

Our U12s Boys team are recruiting for new players to join their growing group as they prepare for the new season in September.

New players looking to try rugby for the first time or experienced players looking for a new club are invited along to the club to join in their 𝗣𝗿𝗲-𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 running on Wednesday evenings (5:45pm - 6:45pm) and Sunday mornings (9am - 10am), starting from 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁.

🏉 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐲 🚀
This morning saw the start of our U6-U9 Summer Training programme. Fantastic turnout across the age groups with many new faces joining us for the first time.

Sessions started off with some joint age group warm up activities to help develop our ‘one-club’ approach before splitting off for some fun in their teams.

The summer sessions are great for helping the players keep their skills fresh in the off season but also to support team bonding.

New players always welcome. Next session is 10am on the 14th June.

Just over a week to go until our Summer Training programme kicks off on Sunday 7th June for children currently in Reception - Year 3 and there is still time to get your mini involved!

No experience need so ideal for those looking for a new sport to try or if they want to return to rugby.

Following its success last summer, Daventry RFC will be running a Summer Training Programme for children in school years Reception to Year 3 to help prepare them for the new season starting in September - all led by the club’s experienced and qualified and age grade coaches.

For £25, all children taking part in programme will receive 6 training session and their own personalised boot bag.
