People see me now and think I've been lucky.
What they don't see is where I started.
Nearly 100kg at 5ft tall. The years of trying, giving up, starting again, falling off plan for months at a time, and watching my weight go up, down, and back up again. The gym sessions I really didn't want to do. The days I relied on motivation and the days I had none.
They don't see how long it took me to realise I couldn't out-train a bad diet, no matter how hard I worked.
And they definitely don't see that the work still hasn't stopped.
I'm still training 6 days a week. Still weighing food. Still tracking. Still following the plan. Still showing up every day, even when I can't be bothered.
Life's busy. 3 kids, a husband, a cat, a dog, a rabbit, work, meal prep, and all the usual chaos. Most days start at 6am and don't slow down until the evening.
This wasn't luck, and it definitely wasn't linear.
It's been years of ups and downs, tears, tantrums (from my coach as much as me π€£), setbacks, lessons, and getting back up every time I wanted to pack it in.
But I kept going.
And that's what this photo means to me. Not just a physical transformation, but proof of what can happen when you refuse to quit. πͺβ€οΈ
Thank you and to the amazing people I have met in the gym along the way. Those that clap for me, support me and push me to be 1% better everytime β€οΈ
