🏉🔥 FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS – U14s VICTORY! 🔥🏉

💙 Cricklade RFC U14s 40 – 31 Chippenham RFC 💛

Another fantastic performance from our Under 14s, securing an impressive 40–31 WIN! 💪🐊

A fiercely competitive game with just one try separating the teams! Plenty of determination, teamwork and brilliant rugby under the Friday night lights! 🌙🏉

👏 Huge thanks to The Red Lion for your continued support and fantastic hospitality!

🐊 Up the Crocs! 💙💛

🏉🔴🟢 FULL TIME | CRICKLADE 5 – 33 DEVIZES 🟢🔴🏉

A tough shift for the Crocs today as we faced a strong Devizes side! 💪🐊

It wasn’t our day on the scoreboard, but you can’t fault the effort, determination and fight shown by every player who pulled on the shirt! 👏🔥

Plenty of positives to take away, lessons to learn and heads held high. We dust ourselves off and go again! ❤️💚

🏆 MAN OF THE MATCH – PETE BLUNDEN 🏆

An absolutely HUGE first-half performance from Pete! 💥

Putting in pivotal tackle after pivotal tackle, Pete made his presence felt across the pitch, stopping Devizes in their tracks on numerous occasions! 🧱💪

Unfortunately, injury forced him off at half-time, but he’d already made a massive impact on the game!

Well deserved, Pete! 👏🐊

🤡 D!CK OF THE DAY – PIXIE BICKELL 🤡

Turns out coaching involves more than just shouting from the sidelines… apparently you’re supposed to COUNT the players too! 😂🏉

Pixie takes this week’s award after getting a little carried away with the substitutions and accidentally sending too many Crocs onto the pitch! 🤦‍♀️🤣

Luckily, the referee didn’t notice… 👀🤫

Maybe we’ll invest in an abacus for the coaching team next week! 🧮😂

❤️💚 MORE THAN A CLUB! ❤️💚

Massive thanks to everyone who came down to support the lads today, and to Devizes for the game! 👏

Not the result we wanted, but the Crocs spirit remains strong!

WE GO AGAIN NEXT TIME, CROCS! 🐊💪🔥

💔🏉 OUR BELOVED JUBILEE CLOCK HAS BEEN TACKLED! 🕰️🚛

We’ve seen some big tackles over the years at Cricklade RFC… but this one might just take the crown! 😢

We’re absolutely gutted to see that our town’s iconic Jubilee Clock has come off second best in a collision with a lorry.

For those who don’t know, the Jubilee Clock holds a special place in our club’s history and identity — it’s the very landmark our Cricklade RFC logo is based on! ❤️💚

It’s more than just a clock. It’s a symbol of our town, our community and our club.

We’re hoping our beloved clock can make a full recovery and return to its rightful place in the heart of Cricklade. 🕰️❤️

Come on, Clocky — you’ve got this! 💪🐊

🏉🔴🟢 FULL TIME | CRICKLADE RFC 24 – 28 COLERNE RFC 🟢🔴🏉

WHAT A GAME! 💪🔥

It might not have been the result we wanted, but what a fantastic run out from the Crocs! 🐊

After a frustrating start to the season with a few cancelled fixtures, the lads finally got their first league game under their belts — and they certainly didn’t disappoint!

Some brilliant tries, huge tackles, plenty of determination and a proper team effort from start to finish! 💚❤️

A narrow 24–28 defeat against Colerne, but the boys left everything out on that pitch. Plenty of positives to take forward and lots to build on for the rest of the season! 👏

🏆 MAN OF THE MATCH – MIKE MURRAY

Absolutely EVERYWHERE on the pitch today! 💪 Some outstanding defensive work, including some crucial try-saving tackles. A brilliant shift from start to finish and a thoroughly deserved MOTM! 👏🔥

🍆 D!CK OF THE DAY – SEAN LOVERIDGE & JAMES MACKENZIE

A joint award this week! 😂🏆

Picture the scene… a pass that could have won us the game. Both Sean and James go for it, both clearly thinking they’ve got it covered… and between the two of them, NEITHER catches it! 🤦‍♂️🤣

Ball turned over, opportunity gone, and two very worthy winners of this week’s award! At least they’re sharing something today! 😂🍻

🌟 LEAGUE DEBUTS!

A massive congratulations to Ryan Pipkin, Eric Hughes, Ollie Wade and Myles Jarvis, who all made their league debuts for CRFC today! 👏🏉

And an extra special shoutout to Eric Hughes, who marked the occasion with a DEBUT TRY! 🏉🔥 What a way to announce yourself!

Brilliant to see fresh faces pulling on the red and green and getting stuck in with the lads! ❤️💚

A huge thank you to everyone who came down to support the boys today. The result might not have gone our way, but the effort, commitment and team spirit were there for everyone to see.

Heads up, Crocs! Plenty more rugby to come! 🐊💪

Thanks to the Red Lion for hosting us after the match 🙏
