So proud of my own team Eclipse Flyball Club, although I didn’t get to run my own dog due to injury I loved returning to box loading for Total Eclipse who won Div3 🏆
What an epic five days I’ve got no voice left and have the worst case of panda eye from my sunglasses but I loved every minute 😬😎

Unbelievably proud of these guys, well done Tails We Win Flyball Teams 👏👏👏

EFC 2026 - European Flyball Championship!

What a blast! Our dogs done us proud, as did every handler!

🩷 HYL - Rip, Rumour, Emmeline, Snyper, Raven & Bam Bam

🩷 TWW - Boone, Herbie, Rhubarb, Panther, Wish & Katniss

Heads you lose raced in Division 11 speed trials and moved up into Division 6 for Double Elimination! 🤯
Seeded 6 out of 8 teams we knew we were in for a battle, and eventually finished in 4th place! 🎖️

Tails We Win raced in Division 3 speed trials and ended up seed 1 in Division 4! 🤩
We hoped this put us into a comfortable division, however with just 0.22 of a second between 8 teams racing this was a tight by division!
This team also finished racing in 4th place! 🎖️

EFC 2026 has been a truly unforgettable experience! Firstly for the atmosphere, sportsmanship, all in all good vibes just for being part of the event

The heat was something else! 🥵 and with such close racing there is no room for error or your races get closer and closer as the day proceeds. Both teams comfortably took the win in their first races, however lost the second which moved them into the losers bracket 😫

This meant smaller race gaps and less time for recovery. Often our races were back to back so no break for the handlers either!

In the end, to finish 4th place with both teams is something we are very proud of. The last time we raced the EFC format was in 2016, we definitely won’t wait another decade before we do it again! 😉

We could not have competed without the help of some other amazing teams…

Herbie and Emmeline from Flyball Muskateers with Evi Blockmans - all 3 of you were a crucial part of our teams 🩷

Katniss from Cambridgeshire Flyball with Schofield - racing in speed trials with TWW to set our seed time for DE 🖤

Bam Bam from Aces High Flyball Team with Joe Scott - again racing in speed trials with HYL, we were able to rest our height dog ready for Sunday 🩷

Also the support from both Silke Robbeets and Peter throughout the races, we could not have done it without you! THANK YOU!

Lastly, a huge congratulations to Cambridgeshire Canines for becoming 2026 Champions! 🏆

It's hard to believe, but in less than a week we'll be arriving in Emtmannsberg for the EFC 2026 - European Flyball Championship

This year’s team is made up of dogs and handlers from Finesse, Junkyard Dogs, Aces High and Reiver Rebels. Somehow, a group that spends most of the year racing against each other always manages to come together when it matters.

Last year in Belgium, Monkeys came home as divisional champions. It's a title we're incredibly proud of, and one we'll be doing everything we can to defend this year. We know the racing will be tough, but that's exactly what makes these championships so special.

As much as we're looking forward to the racing, one of the best parts of the week is catching up with friends from all over Europe. There's something reassuring about spending a few days surrounded by people who also think driving halfway across the continent so their dog can chase a tennis ball is a perfectly sensible way to spend a holiday!

We'll be sharing plenty of photos, videos and race updates throughout the week, so keep an eye on the page and follow our journey. We'd love to have as many of you as possible cheering us on from home.
