🏃‍♂️ Clarkston Primary – Health Week Athletics 🏃‍♀️

We had a brilliant time taking Clarkston Primary School for athletics today as part of their Health Week.
The pupils threw themselves into every activity with energy and enthusiasm, and it was great to see so many of them enjoying being active.
A big well done to the staff for organising the groups and keeping everything running smoothly. The kids were a credit to the school and made the whole session a pleasure to deliver.
Another great day supporting local schools and getting young people moving.

🏆 West District Championships – Airdrie Harriers Pride 🏆

What a brilliant day for our young Harriers at the West District Championships. From first event to last, every athlete showed heart, effort and real club spirit. Days like this remind us why we’re so proud of this group — not just for the medals, but for the attitude, teamwork and determination they bring every time they compete.

We had some outstanding podium moments, with Declan taking a 🥇 medal in the 300m, Sophia earning a 🥇 medal in the Long Jump and a 🥉 medal in the 100m, Tommy securing a 🥈 medal in the Javelin, and both Eva and Millie adding to the success with a 🥇 and 🥈 medal respectively.

But just as important were the brilliant performances from the rest of our squad — Zac, Kyle, Evie, Eva L, Eva M, Anthony, Zane, Zara, Alice, Millie, Jessica, Danni, Aria and Georgia — who all competed with the same commitment and energy that makes this club what it is. Whether they were chasing PBs, stepping up an age group, or taking on a new event, they represented Airdrie Harriers with pride.

Every athlete contributed to a fantastic day, and the whole club is proud of them. This is a group that supports each other, works hard together, and keeps raising the standard every time they step on the track or into the field.

Well done to all of them — medals or not, you did the club proud.

Friend of the club Rebecca is chasing something incredible — qualification for the Commonwealth Games. She’s putting in the work every single day, but the costs of training, travel and competition are huge.

If you can spare even a little, it would make a massive difference to her journey.
Let’s help one of our own chase her dream.

☀️ CSSAL Match 2 – Grangemouth ☀️

We were back in action yesterday for the second fixture of the CSSAL (Central Scotland Scottish Athletics League) in Grangemouth — and our athletes were outstanding once again.

With good conditions and a brilliant team atmosphere, the squad delivered across every event, showing real depth, consistency and quality throughout the programme.

All that hard work paid off as we finished FIRST place for the second match in a row, keeping us right at the top of the table as we continue our push for promotion back to Division 1.

A huge well done to every athlete, coach, official and parent helper. Another fantastic day for Airdrie Harriers.

On to Match 3.
