llet Technique methods. For Adult dancers of all ages, we offer classes in Ballet, Tap & Jazz, along with Pilates, Zumba Gold and dance fitness classes. The school has been established for many years (previously known as Mary Waddington School of Dancing), becoming Ribble Valley Dance in 2010 under the current Principal Lindsay Pollard. Lindsay is an IDTA Fellow & Theatre Examiner, offering professional training in a wide variety dance subjects, and is also a Choreographer for musical theatre and commercial projects. Students are offered opportunities to perform on stage in our school productions, along with other stage work, charity and commercial events. Our students regularly go on to attend vocational colleges and training schools, with our dancers having undertaken training at Royal Ballet School Associates, Northern Ballet, Phil Winstons Theatre Works, Wilkes Academy, Edgehill University, Sylvia Young Theatre School, Mountview Theatre School and more. Many have gone on to accept professional theatre contracts. We also celebrate that our students are often selected to dance at the annual IDTA Theatre Awards with a number of successful Special Commendations.
